Weingut Martin Conrad Inclined to Tradition
Website
Martin Conrad is a 14th-generation winemaker whose vineyards are located on the dramatically steep slate terrain on the slopes of the Mosel river. His vineyards – which include Brauneberger Juffer, treasured even by Napoleon for its exquisite wines – have inclines of up to 80%, making them some of the steepest in Europe. Slate has stamped its character on the site as it does the wines, which can be seen in the site’s blue-gray color scheme. The rich, warm colors of the images mirror the multifaceted, finely balanced flavor of Martin Conrad’s premium wines. Combined with the angular typography, they create a clear and distinctive impression.
